Gortat started the season strong. He played 19 minutes, scored 8 points, got 5 rebounds, and 1 assist. The reason he played so much was the team had a 20+ point lead over the 76ers by the half so the reserves got a lot more playing time.

Good on Gortat to be playing well in the NBA.
But you can't help being a bit angry that Orlando has the best centre in the NBA, Dwight Howard at the #1 position. Because of that, Gortat will always play minimal minutes. Hopefully he plays out another season or two, and then goes off to another NBA team to be a starter.

Considering he signed a long-term deal (5-years) that will only happen if he gets traded.

Or hope that Stan Van Gundy plays them on at the same time which when they have done that, Orlando have played so well.

Game 2: Magic beat NJ 95-85. Gortat played 11 minutes scored 2 points, got 3 rebounds, and 1 steal.
